Networking Opportunities
Business After Hours – Events are held monthly from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. These evening events take place at a hosting member’s business. Event includes food, beer, wine, door prizes and the perfect setting for making contacts and friends. Hosting a Business After Hours or a Business at Breakfast is a great way to showcase your business to the community. BizBlender – 3-minute networking is held monthly. Speed networking guarantees to connect you with different businesses within the Chamber membership. Biz B4 Breakfast Workshops/ Meetings – Feature speakers or panels on topics of interest. Chamber Orientations – Members attend an orientation meeting at the Chamber office, 114 Main Street, Norwich. Orientations are held every other month. Committee Involvement – Numerous committees work on special events and areas of interest to businesses. These teams of volunteers develop special bonds and expand their business contacts while working together. Supportive Services and Products BAT Team (Business Assistance Team) – is available to help members develop strategies to strengthen their businesses. The BAT Team goes to bat for you! A team of knowledgeable members who are business owners themselves meet with you and give you their insight and advice to help you develop a plan to achieve your goals. |

Marketing Free Link and Listing on the chamber website under Member’s Business Directory with a link to your website. Free Listing in our Printed Membership Directory & Community Guide. Weekly Electronic Communications - Every Monday, “Chamber Calendar” is sent out detailing the chamber events and how to RSVP. Every other Friday “Member Communication” is designed to keep members connected to members. This communication offers members a place to advertise their events and products at no cost. Members their employees to the Chamber’s distribution list to receive Chamber communications. Community Calendar – Members can post their public events on the “Community Calendar” located on our website as a way to market to the business community at no cost. Event Sponsorship Opportunities – From our Chairman Circle Membership, to sponsoring an event, there are always numerous opportunities to get your business marketed. Member Business Information Displayed – Members can display literature at the Chamber office for other members, residents and visitors to take.
