​Our Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce (GNACC) is focused on delivering services to its members to enhance their ability to not just survive, but flourish.  Whether it is providing a forum for public discourse on issues facing our area, coaching small businesses on how to compete, advocating on behalf of the business community, or providing emergency support to businesses facing crises, The GNACC is there.  All of our member dollars are devoted to enhancing the business and economic climate in the greater Norwich area.
 
The Greater Norwich Area Chamber was incorporated in late January 2004.  In less than sixty days, over 70 businesses joined the call to focus on improving the economic climate of the greater Norwich area.  By the end of our second year, we boasted approximately 200 business members representing thousands of hardworking people in our area. As of December 2020, our membership exceeds 550.
 
That number is growing daily, as businesses, professionals and community leaders recognize that economic development is truly a local issue.  They realize too that a community’s ability to contribute to a larger region’s economic strength is directly related to its own economic health. 
 
The greater Norwich area is at a crossroads in its history, and coordinated local effort is necessary to insure that our future economy contains a proper mix. In addition to representation from large institutions, mid-sized businesses, and sole proprietors who understand this, our Board of Directors includes ex-officio members from public and private organizations interested in economic development in our region. The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce is providing common ground for these and other parties to get together and complement efforts so that we all pull together for the betterment of our community.

The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business in the Northern New London County. 

Becoming a member of The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce is an investment to you and our community!  Our Sole focus is to enhance local business competitiveness by encouraging innovation, strength in numbers, direct connections, and support.  Chamber membership is open to any business micro to large, as well as any individual person who may have an interest in belonging. ​
