The EWIB assists the region’s educators, trainers, and employers in preparing a supply of qualified workers. EWIB coordinates services to support a full range of individual customer needs including workers who are entering the workforce for the first time, unemployed, under-employed, transitioning into new occupations, or adding skills to remain competitive within the company and industry in which they work.
ReadyCT – committed to advancing academic excellence and career-connected learning for our students – pursues policy opportunities and education program delivery in support of student achievement, with a focus on low-income and minority students whose academic performance traditionally trails their more affluent peers. Connecting K-12 Education Programs and Manufacturers This website provides a forum for K-12 educators and employers to collaborate and problem solve as they refine and build high-impact manufacturing pathways. It will also inform students and families about the great career opportunities available in manufacturing.
