Brought to you by our
GNACC Education Committee
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve decided to cancel GNACC’s May 1st Career Expo. Our goal is to schedule a summer Job Fair for students who have participated in the YMPI program at their school and for those who have participated in the MPI program. GNACC, along with the businesses/manufacturers, will continue to support the efforts of both programs once this COVID 19 Pandemic passes.
We will still be working toward hosting a Fall Career Expo sometime in October and will keep you updated. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Angela Adams at angelaadams@norwichchamber.com or Amanda Nagle at naglea@weib.org. GNACC Education Committee The mission of the GNACC Education Committee is to foster relationships between businesses, educators, schools and their students in order to bridge the gap between education and businesses within the community. By empowering these connections, we aim to help students find something they can be passionate about. Opportunities such as mentoring, internship programs and educational workshops offered by Chamber businesses and community leaders will assist them in developing the skill set and behaviors needed to be successful in pursuing a career path. The committee refers all proposed programs, and new events to the Board of Directors for approval prior to inception of new activities. CLICK HERE for more details. The GNACC Education Committee hosts workshops and seminars. Sponsorship Opportunities available, please email angelaadams@norwichchamber.com or call (860) 887-1647 for more details.
