Event Description: On Tuesday November 13th, 2012, Community Health Resources will be holding a free open house at the Community Room of the New London Public Library in New London, CT- from 4pm-6:30pm - for anyone who might be interested in becoming a Foster Parent for a child in DCF custody. Topics will include training, licensing, support services and tax free stipends. If you have room in your home and in your heart we’re inviting you to become a Foster Parent for one of the thousands of children in Connecticut waiting for a loving, caring place to call home.
