Event Description: Our American Cancer Society, Relay for Life team, The Zoo Crew, is hosting the 2nd Eastern Regional Carnival for a Cure, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2013 at the Brooklyn fairgrounds, Brooklyn, CT. The king of the Grill back yard BBQ cook off, a full scale carnival complete with rides, games, food, crafters, live bands, and entertainment from all over the region. Last year we had just over 3,000 patrons, with the backing of a few local companies like 97.7 WCTY radio and Standish Johnson Advertising, we expect an even bigger crowd this year. We are still seeking business, vendors, and sponsors for our event. With your help we can make the 2nd Eastern Regional Carnival for a Cure an even bigger success than last year.
