The Event Committee meets monthly to discuss, plan and coordinate upcoming events of the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce. Typical tasks of the Event Committee is choosing themes for events when applicable, gather sponsorships, coordinate ticket sales, event publicity, décor, logistics, food, music and any other business aspects needed for the function to be a success.

The most common, and arguably the most important, event of the Chamber is the monthly Business After Hours. Hosted by a different member each month, these events have proven to be an unparalleled opportunity for member organizations to fellowship and network with the mindset of growing member businesses and positively impacting the community.

The Events Committee acts as a clearinghouse for all events hosted by the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce. Such events include the Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament, the Black Tie Harbor Lights Ball and the River Fest event.
